We first met in Groton, CT in 2020 while training to become Undersea Medical Officers. We were dive buddies in Navy Dive school and somehow managed not to drown. We then got stationed in Guam together- Shamii to a submarine ship, and Tyler with EOD. We survived hikes through sawgrass, living next to the jungle, getting raked over coral reefs while snorkeling and a Category 5 Super Typhoon together. Along the way we adopted some cats and became crazy cat people.
